LAHORE, June 23: Pakistan defeated China 3-2 in the four-nation hockey tournament in Dublin, Ireland, according to a report released by the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) on Thursday.

Sohail Abbas, Abdul Haseem Khan and Mohammad Zubair scored the goals for Pakistan.

Earlier, Pakistan lost to a lowly-ranked France 4-2 in the opener.

Pakistan will play their third match of the event against the hosts on Sunday.
