ISLAMABAD, Oct 26: President Gen Pervez Musharraf has decided to postpone the holding of local government elections in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas for an indefinite period.

In an official announcement on Saturday, the government said that the date for the local bodies elections in Federally Administered Tribal Areas would be fixed later.
