Gold seized

PESHAWAR, Oct 24: The customs authorities recovered 4.345 kilograms of gold jewellery worth Rs2.5 million from an Afghan national here at Peshawar International Airport on Thursday, officials said.

In a press release issued here, the customs officials stated that the accused, Gul Jan, arrived through a PIA flight No PK-240 from Dubai.

The customs officials, after conducting search, recovered the gold concealed in his jacket.
