PESHAWAR, Oct 24: Speakers at a seminar asked the government to provide maximum help to the healthcare organizations operating in the private sector to facilitate people seeking treatment from there.

The day-long seminar titled “solution of the problems of the private sector healthcare organizations” was organized by the Abaseen Institute of Medical Sciences (Aims) on Thursday.

Shabbir Ahmad Khan, an MMA’s MNA-elect, urged the philanthropists to extend a helping hand to the ailing humanity by setting up healthcare facilities on the pattern of Aims. The MMA, he said, would leave no stone unturned to strive for the development of the health sector.

Expressing concern over the lack of healthcare facilities, Dr Syed Javed Hussain, another MNA-elect, vowed that he would raise voice on the matter on the flour of the House. He said he would strive for the establishment of more health centres.
