Kachkol to lead BNM in PA

QUETTA, Oct 23: The Balochistan National Movement has elected Mr Kachkol Ali advocate as their parliamentary party leader, Party’s Information Secretary Dr Ishaq Baloch told reporters here on Wednesday.

The decision was taken at the central committee meeting which concluded here Wednesday.

The BNM constituted a four-member committee, headed by Dr Abdul Hayee, to hold negotiations with the other parties for the formation of a coalition government in Balochistan.

The meeting also decided to launch a hunger strike by the MPAs-elect to protest against rigging in the elections.

It also formed a Parliamentary Board for issuing ticket for the Senate elections.

SENATE CANDIDATE: The Balochistan National Movement has decide to award party ticket to Dr Abdul Malik, senior Vice-President of the party, for the upcoming Senate election.

The name of Dr Malik was proposed in the session of the BNM, Kech District, on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, four candidates of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) aspiring for the MMA tickets to contest the elections for the Senate from Turbat, included Maulana Abdul Haq, Ex-Senator, Ismail Buleidai, Maulana Nasseer Ahmed of Kech, and JUI Amir of Panjgur, Hafiz Azam.
