ISLAMABAD, May 10: Father and brother of Arshad Sharif, Bureau Chief of DawnNews Islamabad were laid to rest at H-II graveyard on Tuesday.

Commander (retired) Mohammad Sharif and his son Major Ashraf Sharif died on Monday. Cardiac arrest took Mr. Sharif 's life while his son died in a car accident while returning to his home after hearing the demise of his father.

Earlier, the funeral prayers were attended by a large number of people including media persons, politicians, civil society and members of armed forces. Qul will be held on Wednesday after Assar Prayers at their residence House No 107, Street No 110, G-11/3, Islamabad. —A Reporter
