ISLAMABAD: National football team coach, Tariq Lutfi believes that the team will perform well in the upcoming tour to Palestine.

Talking to a private television channel, Lutfi said that all the players in the team are in good spirit and practice and they are improving day by day.

He expressed the hope that the national team would achieve better results in the forthcoming tour to Palestine for which they are practicing hard.

He said that the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) is taking measures for the upgrading of the infrastructure of the national football team.

The coach said that the purpose of organizing the training camp was to boost the team’s morale and was also aimed at selecting the best for the tour of Palestine which is starting from May 22.

The tour is part of a bi-lateral series, the first part of which was played in Pakistan.

“Our prime task is the World Cup and we are working hard to get in a better position for that,” Lutfi said.

He said that the football team is moving ahead with better performances and they would soon improve their world rankings as well.
