MIRPURKHAS: MQM accuses PPP of rigging

MIRPURKHAS, Oct 19: The zonal in charge, MQM, Mirpurkhas, Fareed Ahmed, has accused the supporters of PPP candidates for massive rigging, harassing the voters, and forcibly occupying the polling stations in NA-226, PS-64, and PS-65, and added that the administration had played a vital role “in rigging the elections”.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday, he claimed that on the polling day MQM agents were not allowed to enter about a dozen polling stations including polling station No2, 19, 23, 38, 55, 56, 58, 66, 89, 103, 114, 155, 184, and 186. He claimed that at Jhulori Deh 12, polling continued till midnight.

He alleged that an MQM election agent, Sarwan Bheel, was kidnapped from the Ghulam Nabi Shah polling station as a result of which 15 polling stations had been affected.

He claimed that the Jeandal Shah polling station was relocated, while bogus votes were cast at polling stations No155 and 156.
