Energy shortfall reaches 2700 megawatts

LAHORE: The energy shortfall in the country has reached 2720 megawatts and according to Pepco, Kesc will only receive 650 megawatts this year.

Speaking to the media DG Pepco Mohammed Khalid said that power plants running on gas were not receiving adequate supply. He added that industries which run on a 24 hour cycle were experiencing loadshedding.
