Increase in college seats demanded

ABBOTTABAD, Oct 14: Hundreds of students could not get admission to the Government Girls College No 1, Abbottabad, due to limited number of seats in the third year Arts and Science faculties.

Parents of the students have asked the authorities in the education department to increase the number of seats, with extra shift of classes to provide equal chances to all those who are interested to get admission.

According to sources, more than 900 prospectus were issued by the college.

However, due to limited number of seats only 240 were given admission in arts faculty, and 120 could be provided admission in science.
