KARACHI: The Expanded Program on Immunisation (EPI), Sindh has finalised all arrangements to vaccinate five million children against polio in 14 districts of the province from April 4-6.

EPI officials told APP on Saturday that the Sub National Immunisation Days will focus on covering all children under the age of five years. The districts in this anti-polio campaign include Karachi, Badin, Tando Mohammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Nawabshah, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, Khairpur, Sukkur, Larkana, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Ghotki and Kashmore.

All needed logistics have been arranged to ensure maximum coverage, said the officials. They further added that EPI would be supported by personnel from health and education departments besides volunteers to ensure that children pertaining to the targeted groups are not missed out.
