Watchmakers like Rolex, Breitling and Patek Philip gave upbeat forecasts for 2011 at the Baselworld, the world’s leading watch show. On show at the Baselworld this year are not only diamond-encrusted mechanical watches with complex movements, but an increasing number of timepieces that combine with the smartphone. The Baselworld is held in Basel from March 24 to March 31.
