KARACHI, March 25: Nine ships including three wheat loaders to load 83,000 tons of the commodity are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.Berthing at the wharves was active where six ships including two bulk cargo carriers, three container vessels MSC Jemima, Oel Trust, and Hanjin Beijiang and two tankers, Nogogini and King Douglas were berthed after the departure of eight.

The ships, which departed included Al-Deerah, Cape Correl, Iron Monger-5, Laconia, Sound Future, Aquila Voyager, Oel Trust and Cap Gabriel departed, while Quetta, Hanjin Beijiang, MSC Jemima, Ocean Island, and Netsanet are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total volume of 0.131m tons comprising 31,990 tons of export cargo and 98,596 tons of import tonnage was handled on Friday.The following ships are due on Saturday: Eleanor-D, Marilyn, and De Shan to load 40,000, 8,900 and 33,000 tons of wheat, respectively, Calmy Coral, with general cargo, MOL Sea Breeze, C.S.L. Ride, H.S. Brickner, Vioand Bella, with containers.
