HYDERABAD, Oct 12: The re-verification of 1,278 rejected votes of NA-220 has begun on the request of the deputy convener, Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Aftab Ahmad Shaikh.

Shaikh was defeated by Sahibzada Abul Khair Mohammad Zubair of the MMA with a margin of 550 votes.

Till the filing of this report, the total vote count of Shaikh and Zubair increased by four and 12 votes respectively.

DATE EXTENDED: The University of Sindh has extended the date for the payment of admission fee in first year MBA (evening programme) and bachelors and masters programme till Oct 14 and 17, respectively.
