ISLAMABAD: The ministry of water and power Tuesday issued the notification for an increase in electricity prices by two per cent.

The increase will be implemented from April 1.

The government had given word to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that it will increase electricity tariff by two per cent during the meeting held last week.
