ANP will not withdraw its support for PPP: Asfandyar Wali

KARACHI: Central President of Awami National Party (ANP), Asfandyar Wali Khan said that his party will not withdraw support for Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

Addressing a press conference at Mardan House here on Monday, the ANP chief said the government should complete its five years tenure.

He said the PPP is fulfilling its promises made to the ANP, therefore we will not withdraw our support for it.

Khan also said that the tranquility in the metropolis is beneficial for all of us and all matters can be settled through the process of dialogue.

He said his party and MQM are not targeting each other in the city, but elements who intend to de-stabilise the country are involved in it.

Khan said the constitution of the country provides equal rights to all citizens and every countryman can go to any part of the country.

He said we have no objection on deweaponisation in the country.

To a question about the US National Raymond Davis, he said the case is subjudice and he will not comment on it.

President ANP Sindh, Shahi Syed, Sindh Minister, Amir Nawab Khan, Member of Sindh Assembly, Amanullah Masood and other leaders of    ANP were also present on the occasion.
