A celebration for prosperity and wealth

The Lunar New Year is the most important annual celebration in China, when the nation largely shuts down as families gather together for reunions and feasts. It simply implies good fortune to every Chinese businessman. Chinese spent money to buy presents, food and clothing, and cleaned their homes to sweep away any ill-fortune, in hopes to make way for prosperity. The Lunar New Year begins on February 3 and marks the start of the Year of the Rabbit, according to the Chinese zodiac. On the other hand, the Lunar New Year is celebrated in many parts of the world where Chinese businessmen took roots through ancient transmigration.
