QUEETA: Leaders and activists of the Balochistan National Party-Mengal staged a protest demonstration in front of the Quetta Press Club on Thursday against `target killings’ of BNP-M workers and kidnapping of a Hindu religious leader.

Holding placards and carrying banners, the protesters chanted slogans against the government and security forces.

Addressing the demonstration, BNP-M leaders Advocate Agha Hasan, Malik Abdul Wali Kakar, Musa Baloch, Ghulam Nabi Marri, Saeed Ahmed Baloch and Agha Shah Khalid accused the government of pursuing anti-Baloch policies.

They lamented that bullet-riddled bodies of political workers were found every other day in parts of Balochistan and said that security forces were behind those killings.

They alleged that the PPP government committed atrocities against Baloch people whenever it came to power. They pledged to continue their struggle for rights.
