Shooting gold each for Army and Navy

Pakistan Army and Pakistan Navy won a gold medal each on the opening day of the shooting events of the National Games on Saturday.

Army won all three medals of the double trap event, with Major Amir, Colonel Skhawat and Captain Junaid taking gold, silver and bronze respectively.

Meanwhile, Tariq Manzoor and Shehzad Akhter of Pakistan Navy won the 50m pistol gold and silver medals respectively. Army’s Kaleem won the bronze medal in the same event.
