WASHINGTON, Dec 22: Sales of previously-owned US homes rose above expectations in November in the latest sign that the beleaguered housing market was on a slow recovery path.
Existing home sales rose 5.6 per cent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.68 million in November from 4.43 million in October, the National Association of Realtors said.
The number was slightly higher than economists’ forecasts of a rise to 4.65 million sales.—AFP
