According to sources, the crackdown in Bannu was launched to avoid any  untoward incident during the ten days of Muharram.

Sources stated that heavy weaponary was also recovered from some suspects during the search operation. Police has taken the weapons in their possession.

The suspects are being interrogated while in custody.
