The second Asian Beach Games will be held in Muscat, the capital of Oman from December 8 to 16.
Pakistan will participate in the bodybuilding, sailing, handball and kabaddi events of the Games, the Pakistan Olympic Association said on Friday.
A total of 45 participant nations will compete in 14 disciplines.
Pakistan had a successful outing at the first edition of the Games in Bali in 2008, where it won seven medals (two gold, two silver, three bronze).
The Pakistan contingent will be led by, President of the Pakistan Boxing Federation Doda Khan Bhutto as Chef de Mission, who will be accompanied by five officials.
