Margalla towers case accused arrested in Spain

ISLAMABAD: The Interpol on Monday, arrested the accused architect Abdul Hafeez Shaikh of the Margalla towers Islamabad in Spain, Who will be officially handed over to Pakistani authorities in few days.

Margalla towers were partially collapsed in an earthquake on October 8, 2005 and a case was filed against the builders for inferior constructions.

Sources in the Interior ministry have told Dawn that the Spanish authorities had agreed to hand over Shaikh to Pakistan through the Interpol and important official paperwork would be completed in the next few days.

Shaikh allegedly escaped the country in 2005, who was centrally accused in this case along with Ramzan Khokar and Kehkashan Khokar wanted by the Pakistani authorities. – DawnNews
