KHAIRPUR, Oct 21: The SHOs of seven police stations of the district have been put under suspension and directed to report to police lines Khairpur on Wednesday evening.

They had been suspended due to poor performance. They included SHOs of Gambat, Setharja, Piryaloi, B-Section, Pir Jo Goth, Kumb and Tando Masti police stations. Peasant missing:

A peasant has been missing from taluka Kingri within the jurisdiction of Ahmedpur police station since Wednesday.

Band Ali Khambhrro of village Wada Khambhrra left his home to irrigate the farm land adjacent his village on Wednesday night but did not return.

His relatives started a search for him but failed to find him.—Correspondent
