LAHORE, Oct 2: The inspector general of police has transferred and posted eight senior police officers.

According to a notification issued on Saturday, Bhakkar District Police Officer Pervaiz Shah Kandhari has been transferred and posted as Punjab Counter Terrorism Department (previously Punjab CID) SSP while SP Humayun Saeed Sindhu, awaiting posting, has been posted in place of Kandhari.

Punjab Investigation Branch SSP Azhar Hameed Khokhar has been transferred and posted as Punjab Special Branch SSP.Malik Abu Bakar Khuda Bakhsh has been posted as Punjab Investigation Branch SSP.

Kamran Adil, awaiting posting, has been posted as Lahore Cantonment division SP Investigation vice Muhammad Omer Saeed who has been transferred and posted as Lahore Civil Lines division SP Operations.

Civil Lines division SP Operations Dr Haider Ashraf has been transferred and posted as Lahore VVIP Security SP vice Ali Javed Malik who has been transferred and ordered to report to the Punjab Police headquarters.

Meanwhile, Air Traffic Controller Afsal Shahid has been transferred and posted as Airport Manager Rahimyar Khan.
