SHIKARPUR, Sept 9: A constable of the Sindh Reserve Police was killed when a truck hit him on the National Highway near Sultankot on Saturday night.

The constable, Irshad Ahmad, resident of Moro, had cautioned the truck driver to stop but the driver did not stop the truck and hit him.

The Sultankot police registered a case and impounded the truck. The driver fled.

SNATCHED: A vaccinating supervisor, Manzoor Ahmad Pathan, was robbed of his motorcycle by two unidentified armed bandits on Rustam-Shikarpur Road near Khabri village on Saturday evening.
