MINGORA, Sept 8: The security forces here on Wednesday issued a list of 19 wanted militants, directing them to surrender before Eidul Fitr otherwise their houses would be demolished.
Posters, carrying names of 19 wanted militants, were pasted on the walls and gates of shops in Kanaju bazaar of tehsil Kabal, warning them to lay down arms and surrender to security before Eidul Fitr. In case of failure their houses would be demolished, according to the posters.
The militants include Yaqub Khan son of Dost Mohammad, Hussain Khan son of Yar Gul, Sajid Khan son of Mubeen, Zaffar Ali son of Rasool Mohammad, Rahmat Shah son of Faqir Shah, Naseeb Rawan son of Enzar, Farman Ali son of Naseeb Rawan, Bakhash Rawan son of Enzar, Lajbar Khan son of Gul Mohammad Shah, Tajbar son of Gul Mohammad Shah, Maaz son of Saleem, Zia Uddin son of Gohar Ali, Ajmeer, Salim Javed son of Osman Omar, Akram son of Osman Omar, Nasar son of Khursheed, Mohammad Ishaq
son of Seed Mukhtar, Muneer Ahmed, and Yusuf son of Abdul Ghafoor.
The posters said those people were wanted by security forces in various cases of militancy and they should laid down arms and surrender to security forces before Eid otherwise their houses would be blown up and property would be confiscated.SCHOOL BLOWN UP: A government girls’ primary school was blown up in Pashmal area of Bahrain on Tuesday.
The militants planted explosive at the school which exploded with a big bang. As a result the school building was completely destroyed. The furniture and record of the school was damaged.
It was the second school blown up by militants after restoration of peace in Swat as a result of a military operation. So far 402 schools have been blown up or torched in Swat while 99 schools reportedly washed away or collapsed in the recent flash floods and heavy monsoon rains.
SECURITY: The security forces and local administration beefed up security ahead of Eidul Fitr in the district. Foolproof security arrangements have been made to thwart any untoward situation in the restive region. Police will be deployed at all the Eidgahs and mosques. Security personnel in plain cloths will be present at various points to keep vigil on the activities of suspected persons.
ROAD: The Khwazakhela-Madyan Road has also been reopened for light traffic. Officials said that work on the road would be completed and it would be soon opened for heavy traffic also. The major potion of the road from Khwazakhela to Athrorh was washed away by gushing floodwater recently.
