Leaders from other parties who recently crossed over to the PML-QA were accommodated on seats they had been winning in the past.
Adjustments have also been made with PML-Jinnah, which is a component of the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy.
Candidates of Millat Party, PML-Jinnah and JUP have also been awarded tickets.
Talks are going on with PML-Chattha, due to which some seats have been left open. Tickets for the Varyo family of Sialkot, which is politically affiliated with PML-Chattha, were announced earlier but suspended shortly thereafter, possibly till a decision on adjustments.
Some people previously contesting the provincial assembly seats have been given tickets for NA.
Some families have got a bigger share of the tickets, as a result of which they will be able to maintain their hold in their respective constituencies.
The party’s central president, Mohammad Azhar, has selected two NA seats for himself and a third for his brother, Mian Mohammad Ashraf, who has no political standing whatsoever.
Chaudhry Shujaat Husain is in the run for two NA seats, his brother for another seat. Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi is a candidate for two provincial seats.
Begum Abida Hussain and Syed Fakhr Imam, contesting on one and two NA seats respectively have also got their daughter tickets for two provincial seats.
Mr Imam’s brother Faisal Imam is a candidate for PP-215 (Khanewal).
According to the list issued by Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Mian Azhar will be a candidate for NA-118 (Lahore) and NA-132 (Sheikhupura) and his brother, Mian Ashraf, for NA-120.
Mian Mohammad Munir, disqualified because of being convicted by the Supreme Court, has brought his brother Mian Jehangir to the fore, who has been awarded ticket for NA-121.
Akhtar Rasool, involved in a legal battle for his candidacy, has been replaced by his uncle Chaudhry Amin who will be a candidate for NA-122.

Nilofer Bakhtiar has been awarded the ticket for NA-56 (Rawalpindi).
JUP’s Syed Shams Haider has been given the ticket for NA-63 (Jhelum).
Chaudhry Anwar Ali Cheema is a candidate for NA-67 (Sargodha) and his son Amer for PP-32. Mr Cheema’s daughter-in-law, Tanzeela, is being considered for a special seat.
Former interior minister Chaudhry Shujaat Husain is a candidate for NA-104 (Gujrat) and NA-74 (Bhakkar).
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi is a candidate for PP-110 (Gujrat) and PP-292 (Rahimyar Khan).
Millat Party leader Mian Afzal Hayat has been accommodated on NA-105 (Gujrat). Erstwhile PML-N leader Rai Mansab Ali has been given the ticket for NA-137 (Sheikhupura). Similarly, former PPP leader Rana Ikram Rabbani has been accommodated on NA-144 (Okara) and former PPP-SB leader Ishaq Khakwani on NA-168 (Vehari).
Former PML-N Punjab secretary-general Rana Nazir Khan, who has only recently joined the PML-QA, has got his son Mohammad Omar Nazir the ticket for NA-99 (Gujranwala).
Former law ministers Chaudhry Amir Husain and Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor have been given tickets for Sialkot and Bahawalnagar NA seats.
Former PPP leader Wasi Zafar has been accommodated on NA-76 (Faisalabad).
Punjab chief secretary’s brother Khalid Iqbal Randhawa has been given the ticket for PP-219 (Khanewal) while his daughter is being considered for a special seat.
NA-100 and 101 (Gujranwala), where Hamid Nasir Chattha is a candidate, have been left open for the time being. It is said that Col Sarwar Cheema of the PML-QA is being persuaded into withdrawing from his constituency.
Mian Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri, who was reportedly being pressurized into vacating a seat for former foreign minister Sardar Assef Ahmad Ali, has won the battle. He will be a candidate for NA-140 (Kasur) while NA-139 goes to his brother, Bakhtiar.
No candidate has been decided for two NA seats of Dera Ghazi Khan, possibly to make adjustments with Millat Party president Farooq Leghari.
PML-Jinnah leader Saeed Ahmed Khan Manais has won the ticket for PP-238 (Vehari) for his son Assef Saeed.
Another PML-Jinnah leader Chaudhry Mohammad Farooq will be a candidate for PP-114 (Gujrat).
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that the party had received some 300 applications for 148 NA seats in the Punjab. Similarly, he said, the party had received 850 applications for 297 Punjab Assembly seats.
All decisions, he said, were made on merit. Tickets had been finalized for 122 NA and 248 provincial assembly seats, he said and added, decision on 26 NA and 49 provincial assembly seats would be taken subsequently.
