LAHORE, Nov 9: A bomb hoax created panic in the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust Hospital on Friday.

Quoting the hospital administration, police said an unidentified caller told them that a bomb had been planted in the hospital. The building was evacuated by the administration at 6pm. Police, special branch, civil defence and bomb disposal squad rushed to the scene and took some two hours to scan the building.

Later, they reported that no explosive had been planted in the building.
