LAHORE, Sept 4: An ARD leader has alleged that a directive has been issued from the Chief Executive’s Secretariat, Islamabad, to over two dozen retired military officials

holding very senior positions in the government that they should extend full support to the candidates of the “King’s party”.

In a letter to the chief election commissioner, Mr Munir Ahmad Khan has also given the names of the officials who have been given instructions.
