TEHRAN, Sept 1: Interior Minister Moinuddin Haider is due here on Monday for talks on the fight against terrorism, drug trafficking and organized crime, the Iranian interior ministry announced on Sunday.
During his five-day visit, Haider will also discuss boosting cross-border cooperation between Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province, and Pakistan’s Balochistan, which are among the two countries’ poorest, the ministry said.
Iranian Interior Minister Abdolvahed Mussavi-Lari visited Pakistan last year.—AFP
