LAHORE, Aug 29: ARD President Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan and JUI-F amir Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Thursday demanded a ban on the use of development funds in support of the government-backed candidates.

They said after a meeting that these funds were being misused to enhance the public support for the PML-QA contestants.

The two leaders also demanded an unfettered freedom to carry out electioneering. —Staff Reporter
