FAISALABAD, Aug 24: Bashir Ahmad’s golden goal helped PTCL lift the All-Pakistan Faisalabad floodlit football championship title after defeating Crescent Mills.

The game entered into

extra time as both sides were locked at 1-1 during the stipulated time.

PTCL’s Saleem Butt dodged past two defenders to open the scoring in the first half, while Abdul Mannan of Crescent Mills equalised two minutes later.

Bashir’s effort eight minutes into the first half of the extra time gave a thrilling victory to PTCL.
