RAWALPINDI, Aug 21: The Lahore High Court (LHC), Rawalpindi bench, while allowing the writ petition filed by former federal minister Ijazul Haq, on Wednesday directed the Election Commission (EC) to register Pakistan Muslim League (Zia) as a political party.

On the court’s directive, the Election Commission of Pakistan registered the PML (Z) as a political party and allotted “helicopter” symbol to it.— APP
