LAHORE, Aug 19: District Nazim Mian Amer presented the lists of City District Government consensus candidates for national and provincial assembly seats in the provincial capital to PML-QA president Mian Azhar here on Monday. The Nazim informed the PML-QA president that the lists had been drawn by him after consultation with over 2,500 union council Nazimeen, Naib Nazimeen and councillors at the Nazim House here during the past two days. He said the final list had been drawn from 15,000 names proposed by the UC Nazimeen, Naib Nazimeen and councillors. Every UC Nazim, Naib Nazim and councillor was asked to propose the names of three suitable candidates for each of the national and provincial assembly constituency in which the UC was situated. —Reporter
