What's with Hadiqa Kayani these days? First she sings a song that's uncharacteristic of her (Tuk Tuk), then she croons a Persian number, and now she comes up with a video, a Pashto duet with a chap by the name of Irfan Khan. The direction she's headed in is a tad baffling to me.

While it's praiseworthy that you try and experiment with your art, the thing is that every voice has a distinct texture. Methinks her Urdu and Punjabi pop songs are her trademark stuff, and that's where she leaves a lasting impression.
