KHAIRPUR, Aug 4: Two sisters identified as Saeeda Kalhoro (12) and Fareeda Kalhoro (10) drowned while trying to take a dip in the Rohri Canal in the Kalhoro village near Halani town on Saturday.

Their bodies were fished out late in the night.

GIRL CRUSHED TO DEATH: A girl, Fauzia Jogi (5), was crushed to death under the wheels of a tractor in Piryaloi on Sunday.

Police arrested the driver and impounded his tractor.

KIDNAPPED: Ten armed men kidnapped a banana trader, Akbar Gad, in the Gad village near Razi Dero on Saturday night.
