KHAIRPUR, Aug 2: The gastroenteritis has created havoc in Old Ahmedpur, Ketti Bhutto, Ismail Ja Par, Ali Shaikh Jabbar and many other villages of the kutcha area in Kingri Taluka.

In old Ahmedpur, a three years old girl, Shah Bibi, died due to the gastroenteritis, while Sanam, Naveed, Aidal, Waseem, Shumaila, Shazia Siyal have been admitted to hospital.

Many children have died due to the lack of hospitals in the area.

GUTTED: Four houses were destroyed when a was fire broke out due to short-circuit in the Saido village, near Chondico, here on Thursday night.

A large quantity of wheat, cash, gold ornaments and household items were also destroyed.
