GUJRAT, July 28: The kidnapped bank manager reached home on Saturday reportedly after paying ransom.

HBL’s Narowal branch manager Bashir Ahmad was on his way home when four men in a four-wheeler without a registration number plate intercepted his car (No FDK 69) near Kujah. The men took away the banker with his car and later demanded ransom from the family for his release.

The kidnappers released him at a place in Sargodha district from where he reached home.

Relatives said that ransom was paid for the release of Bashir.

When contacted, Kunjah police denied that ransom was paid and said they registered a case and were looking into the matter.
