SUKKUR, July 28: Two Mirani tribesmen were killed and two others injured when armed Kori tribesmen opened indiscriminate fire on them near Bagarji, Sukkur District, in the wee hours of Sunday.

Two Miranis, Sachal Mirani and Sharif Mirani, were sleeping on the farms of Ramejo tribesmen when Kori tribesmen appeared and opened fire as a result of which both were killed on the spot and two others were injured.

A police official said that the tribes had been at daggers drawn since 1972 in which a man, Saleh Kori, was killed after declaring a Ramejo girl as Kari, and added that so far 10 people had been killed in the dispute.
