DADU, July 27: The growers staged demonstrations in Sehwan and Johi on Saturday against water shortage in waterways originating from Johi Branch and Dadu Canal.

According to reports, a large number of growers staged a demonstration in Sehwan to protest against what they termed artificial shortage of water in the waterways originating from Dadu Canal and Danister Wah.

Meanwhile a large number of farmers of Johi taluka also staged a demonstration in Johi to protest against acute water shortage in 20 waterways originating from Johi Branch.—BoC
