LAHORE, July 22: The action announced against Nazimeen joining a political party is only a farce as it is the top brass of the government that is forcing the local councils heads to take the decision, alleges the Pakistan Awami Tehrik.

Talking to various delegations here on Monday, Pakistan Awami Tehrik chief Prof Tahirul Qadri demanded information minister Nisar Memon arrest the government officials involved in pre-poll rigging. Demanding right to vote for overseas Pakistanis, he opposed exempting the womenfolk from qualification condition for contesting October polls.
