PESHAWAR, July 20: A master plan for the provision of Sui gas to the areas of Peshawar without the utility is almost ready.

In a statement issued on Saturday, member of the Sui gas committee of  the Peshawar city district government Israrullah advocate said that survey in this connection had been carried out in all the union councils.

He said President Pervez Musharraf, during his referendum campaign, had promised to take action for the provision of Sui gas to the neglected areas of Peshawar.

City Nazim Azam Afridi was in contact with the federal and provincial governments in this regard, he said.—Bureau
