ISLAMABAD, July 20: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has sought Rs40 million from the government for the computerization of its various departments, an official told Dawn here on Saturday.
The official said about Rs60 million were required for this purpose of which Rs40 million would be sought from the government and rest of the amount would be generated by the authority.
“The government provides Rs40 million funds under its e-government plan for the computerisation of a department,” he said adding “A letter in this regard has been sent to the government.”
Meanwhile, the CDA board on Saturday sanctioned seven new posts for its computer directorate.
The posts of computer programmers and other computer experts have been sanctioned with a view to turn the CDA’s computer section its into a full-fledged directorate.
