QUETTA, July 18: The Balochistan government has decided to give monthly salary to the elected members of the union, tehsil, town and district councils from July 1.

According to an official notification issued by the local government department, the members elected on reserved seats would get Rs5,000, members elected to the town and tehsil councils would receive Rs3,000 and members of the union councils would get Rs1,000 per month.
