PTCL woes

I LODGED a complaint at 1218 with PTCL complaint cell on Aug 4 for a faulty line of my phone # 4404501 and was given complaint No. 94.

But no one from the PTCL responded. On contacting again at 1218 on Aug 11, I was surprised when they told me that the complaint had been fixed on Aug 7.

It is also pertinent to mention that during this time my family members and I kept visiting Model Colony exchange again and again and were told by the SDO that it was just a loose wire that would be fixed soon.

However, on reporting once again the existing problem, a new complaint number 82 was given on Aug 11. On Aug 13, when I tried to follow up the complaint at 1218, I was given a new complaint number 67.

We are now disappointed by the PTCL and have decided not to pay future PTCL bills to get rid of this physical and mental torture and bought Worldcall wireless phone which costs less and gives more hassle-free facilities.

However, at least for us it would be really painful to end this 24 years of long relationship with the PTCL landline facility in which we always remained at the paying and suffering end. Alas! But who cares for customer-vendor relationship in this country.
