SANGHAR, Nov 3: A man was killed in an exchange of fire at village Sultan Malano in the jurisdiction of Lundo police station late on Friday night. According to information, the deceased Sadoro Domki, 25, alongwith his companion entered the autaq of Master Brohi to steal Phutti (raw cotton).

They took about 25kg cotton of and left the autaq, while both of them were still about a 1000 yards away.

The owners immediately came to know about the incident.

They chased the thieves alongwith other villagers. An exchange of fire took place as a result of which Sadoro died on the spot and his companion fled.

The deceased belonged to village Ghous Bux Domki near Shahdadpur.

A double barrel shot gun and eleven cartridges were also recovered from the deceased. Lundo police have registered an FIR against the accused.

Uncle of the deceased who is head muharrar at Tando Adam police station has denied the allegation and said it was a planned murder and the deceased was invited there and then killed.
