Ex-cashier gets 5-year term

QUETTA, July 17: The Accountability Court No. II, Quetta, headed by Judge Nadir Khan Durrani, on Wednesday awarded five years’ rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs15 million to Kaleem Bhatti, former cashier of the deputy commissioner office, in a corruption case.

The judge ordered recovery of the fine by forfeiting the convict’s property. In case of default, the convict would undergo an additional two-year rigorous imprisonment.
