KARACHI, June 28 A batch of 24 promising first-class and under-19 cricketers will take part in the one-month long Emerging Players Development Programme, organized by the Customs Cricket Academy, at the CCA premises from Monday.

The CCA head coach and former Pakistan fast bowler Jalaluddin along with Azam Khan, Shaukat Mirza and Umar Rasheed, all of whom are highly qualified in cricket coaching will impart training.

This programme is a joint venture of the CCA and Karachi City Cricket Association. The objective of this exercise is to enhance the ability of the selected cricketers and prepare them to meet the challenges of future.

During the training the cricketers will be taught modern techniques of the game.
