Entrance test for lawyers

GUJRANWALA, July 11: The Punjab Bar Council has directed all the district Bars to conduct compulsory entrance test of lawyers seeking their licenses, it is learnt on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the local Bar association has announced test schedule and fixed July 13.

According to a press release, the entrance test of lawyers of the district would be held at the Quaid-i-Azam Bar hall from 11am to 12:15pm on July 13 (Saturday) under the supervision of Punjab Bar Council member Chaudhry Pervez Ahmad Oathi.

INJURED: Two motorcyclists were injured on Thursday when a police party shot at them for not stopping at a picket in Kot Ladha village.

Reports said Sajid Ali was going to drop his brother-in-law Rana Muhammad Akhtar at a bus stop. Near a picket, they tried to escape the police signal. The police shot at and injured the fleeing men.
